Amigos:
El día de ayer lunes 22 de diciembre, nos trasladamos al sector de las Termas del Plomo, afloramientos de aguas termales provenientes del volcán San José, ubicadas en el valle del rio Yeso aproximadamente a 60 kilómetros de San José de Maipo.

Ahí montamos nuestro campamento base donde pudimos disfrutar de las calidas aguas termales y fue el punto de partida para recorrer dos senderos representativos de la zona.

Durante la tarde del día lunes visitamos la Laguna de los Patos, situada solo una hora de caminata desde las termas y el día de hoy, visitamos el hito fronterizo Portillo de Piuquenes situado a 4045 metros de altitud, ruta patrimonial a través de la cual cruzó una fracción del Ejercito Libertador en el año 1817 y el naturalista inglés Charles Darwin en su viaje a Argentina en el año 1835.
