VERSIÓN ESPAÑOL Hola a todos, hemos llegado a nuestro campamento 1, después de múltiples dificultades. Bueno, como informamos en nuestro último reporte de voz, llegamos a Punta Portal a bordo del Antarctic Dream, donde fuimos recibidos con un tiempo incríble, un día de sol maravilloso, y una vista espectacular de las montañas que rodean la Bahía Charlotte, con sus grandes glaciares y campos de seracs. Y bueno, una vez que llegamos instalamos nuestro gran domo Doite, armamos nuestro campamento muy cómodo, e hicimos un pequeño avance hacia el lugar en que nos encontramos ahora, el campamento 1, y el porteo de los kayaks. Hay que considerar que en total, llevamos más de 100 kg de alimentos, para poder llevar a cabo esta expedición con un consumo de 6.000 calorias. Bueno, este primer día fue bastante duro, tratamos de avanzar lo más posible para llegar a los pies del monte Harris, que es lugar donde comienza el primer campo de grietas. La travesía de ese día se realizó sin dificultades, y luego tuvimos muy poca visibilidad, pues en esos días existió una gran cantidad de niebla muy densa, que en algunos casos nos permitia una visibilidad que no superaba los 4 o 5 metros, y el segundo día transladamos parte de los alimentos. A partir del tercer día ya no pudimos continuar con los porteos ya que se presento un temporal, muy fuerte, con mucha lluvia y fuertes vientos del noroeste que hacian muy díficil salir . Adicionalmente a la lluvia y el viento, teniamos un estado de niebla que nos hacia imposible transitar por estos campos de nieve, entonces no nos quedaba más que esperar, capenado el temporal, y reforzando los muros que se deshacían con la lluvia, una lluvía muy cálida, impresionante, que borro más de la mtad de la nieve que se acumuloó en la zona de Punta Portal durante el invierno. Pero bueno, la lluvia llego a su fin , y después de 8 días podemos retomar el porteo con el resto de la comida y parte del equipo. Hicimos porteos con pequeños trineos, llegando a este campamento 1 con muy poca visibilidad, teniamos mucha niebla, nos fuimos guiando con el GPS, hasta que llegamos al punto que teníamos marcado, cor GPS, donde estaban los kayaks, y en el que adicionalmente habimos puesto una baliza, que era un varilla con un banderin, con muy mala visibilidad como decía, y no encontramos los kayaks. Empezamos a hacer un barrido por el entorno del punto marcado con GPS y no encontramos nada. El barrido lo hicimos en una area muy extensa, y también una inspección ocular, que supero el radio de 50 mts del punto en que debiera estar el deposito, y nada, pensamos que lo que había ocurrido era que había nevado más de dos metros, que era la altura de la baliza. Volvimos al campamento, fue una marcha muy dura ese día, de 17 horas continuas, llegamos muy cansados, y en la mitad de ese tiempo debimos arrastrar nuestras pulcas por la nieve nueva que estaba muy blanda, los skies randonee los enterreabamos en 30 cm, en algunas ocasiones 40 cm. en la nieve, y además teniamos que ir abriendo huella con la pulca, por lo que el avance era muy dificultoso. Ayer volvimos a este punto, con las últimas cosas para instalarnos definitivamente en nuestro campamento 1, en el campamento base desarmamos todo lo que teniamos, incluyendo el domo, dejamos un deposito para después recogerlo en nuestro regreso a Ushuaia, y avanzamos hacia el campamento 1 con una excelente visibilidad, y pudimos apreciar en toda su magnitud la isla Bravante, la Isla Nansenn y por supuesto la Isla Charlotte, donde pudimos contemplar más de 15 ballenas jorobadas que estaban en la bahía totalmente calma, con una vista espectacular, además pasamos junto al monte Jack, que tiene un enorme hongo de hielo que tiene la forma de una cascada reventando, y creo que es el hongo más espectacular que he visto en mi vida, y fue un día muy hermoso, y sobre todo porque al final del día llegamos a la zona donde habíamos dejado el último depósito de alimentos, y a una distancia de apróximadamente 100 mts. puidimos ver la balisa y encontramos los kayaks. Ahora nos encontramos acampando frente a los kayaks, estamos haciendo agua, derritiendo un poco de nieve, para desayunar y después remontar el monte Hades, que esta al sur de donde nos encontramos ahora, y va a hacer una operación bastante delicada pues existen grandes grietas en toda la zona donde tenemos que ascender hasta la cumbre del monte, y desde la cumbre del monte continuaremos penetrando la península antártica para alcanzar el Plateau Foster que es nuestro principal objetivo en este momento.
